The Roman Road

Follow the Roman Road – the pathway to salvation.  These verses are found in the Bible in Romans.  If you read these verses, they will tell you why you need Jesus in your life and how to have Jesus in your life.  So…start reading and if you have questions about what you read, just drop us a note in our “Contact Us” section.  We love the Lord and would be glad to talk with you about Him.

If you can't say something nice... 1 Peter 3:10

Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We have all done something that is not pleasing to God. Some of us have lied, some of us have stolen…anything we do that is not pleasing to the Lord is sin.

Romans 6:23 says “…The wages of sin is death…” There is a terrible result that living a sinful life brings. Sinners deserve and will receive eternity in Hell, separated from God. We do deserve death for our sins.

Crucified for Us

Romans 6:23b says “But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Thankfully, there is a solution for our sin problem. Jesus, who never sinned, died for us to pay for our sin. What a gift! Salvation is an absolutely free gift from God to us. All we have to do is receive it. We need to ask God to forgive us for our sins and to save us.
Romans 5:8 says “God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!” When Jesus died on the cross, he paid the price for our sin. All we have to do is believe in Him and what He has done for us. We can never do anything to earn our salvation…we can never be good enough to save ourselves…we must trust in Him and accept His gift of salvation.
Confess Believe

Romans 10:13 says “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!” It is Jesus Christ who made the gift of salvation possible.
Romans 10:9, 10 say “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” In order to be saved, you need to ask Jesus to save you. When you accept His free gift, please do others you know a favor…tell them how to be saved also!
John 3:16

One final note from us: Many people know and quote John 3:16. Perhaps you have known it since childhood. It says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” That word “whosoever” includes you and me. Each member in our family has accepted God’s free gift of salvation. Have you? God loves you and wants you to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. We urge you to please accept the free gift of salvation He is offering you.

If you would like to discuss any of this with us, please drop us a line by clicking on the “Contact Us” section on this site. We would love to hear from you!
